Nicole Taylor #102582
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Yoga Teacher
I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Human Services with a specialization in non-profit management and a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy.
I am 200hr certified yoga teacher and have focused training in therapeutic yin & restorative yoga practices.
I am a certified trainer for The National Council of Behavioral Health’s Mental Health First Aid Program.
I am currently working to complete my doctorate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy.
I have been providing therapeutic mental health and community support services to individuals, families, and youth since 2008. I have worked in a variety of settings, including hospitals, shelters, non-profit organizations, schools, and mental health agencies. Through this work, I help clients to better understand themselves and create action plans to live the type of life that is desired.
I am a Southern California Angeleno with deep roots in Inglewood. I currently call Northern California home, although I often miss the liveliness of Los Angeles.
I am an introverted lover of all things plants, yoga, travel and food, especially TACOS!
I am generally informal and laidback, which I’ve been told increases comfort and makes me approachable or perhaps, a bit aloof.
I will let you decide.
Despite my social awkwardness, I very much enjoy assisting others on their journeys of self discovery and healing and hope for the opportunity to do so with you.
