Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

I obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology with minors in both Creative Writing & Art at The University of California Merced and a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy at Palo Alto University. I have experience working in a hospital, non-profit organization, and school-based setting where I provided comprehensive individual and group counseling services to youth and families since 2013. As a former AmeriCorps member, I have experience implementing school readiness services and social-emotional developmental skills into therapeutic services. I also currently enjoy working as a virtual ESL Teacher helping children in Beijing, China learn how to speak, read and write English.

I conduct therapy through the lens of a Humanistic Approach and am client-centered based. As humans, there is no "cookie cutter" solution in therapy. Therapy will include a variety of approaches to cater for each individual's unique needs and experiences. Regardless of age, gender, sexual orientation, occupation, life stage, relationship status or circumstance ~ my goal is to help you shift your perspective and learn more about yourself on a deeper level by practicing gratitude, mindfulness, and implementing various stategies to help in your own personal healing. If you are looking for someone to listen, help you find strength and navigate through life's challenges, I am here to encourage you every step along the way through all of life's stages.

A little more about myself, I was born and raised in the Bay Area. I recently returned home after living with my husband in Melbourne, Australia for 4 years where I had the opportunity to cross petting a fluffy koala off of my bucket list! Prior to moving across the world, we survived being in a long-distance relationship for 1.5 years. I was raised in a multicultural American Chinese-Brazilian family who also endured long-distance before the luxury of technology existed. My heart resides in various places in the world and I have had the privilege of exploring 30 countries. I love trying new foods and immersing myself in cultures that are different from my own.

I am an outgoing, friendly, warm soul who you can pretty much always find smiling. Although each session will differ, therapy with me will always feel like you are speaking to a genuine, supportive non-judgemental friend.

I find such joy in having the opportunity to help individuals (such as yourself!) acquire the skills needed to live

a healthy, happy, meaningful life.
