I’m an art psychotherapist offering holistic, trauma-informed therapy for individuals, couples, and families. I specialize in supporting BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ folks, as well as those navigating racial trauma, anxiety, depression, and identity exploration. My approach is integrative, blending art therapy, narrative therapy, womanist theory, and somatic care to support healing and reconnection to self. I offer virtual sessions for clients across California.

How would you like to diversify your healing process? As I walk alongside you on your healing journey, I will offer a plethora of modalities to explore while supporting your process. In addition to talk therapy, art, writing, somatic attunement, breathwork, and sound healing will be offered.

I am strength-based and person-centered, incorporating narrative, intersectional and womanist theories, all intertwined with solution focused and accountability. I practice holistically, providing psychoeducation about the impact of nutrition, hydration, sleep, and movement on mental wellness. We can work with your inner child to process unresolved childhood matters, encouraging nurturing, reparenting, playfulness, laughter, creativity, and time in nature.

Helping people heal is my calling. I intuitively learned how to hold a safe space years before I knew that I would become an art psychotherapist. I have worked with people with various abilities as an art instructor, teacher’s assistant, a school secretary, employment specialist, community health and political organizer, and legal assistant. I know how critical emotional wellness is to maintain a balanced healthy life, as I would often speak with people about personal matters impacting their lives.

As a member of a marginalized group, I was inspired to reject the mainstream oppressive narrative in my graduate research. I created a methodology for a unique group healing experience that has resulted in reprocessing and releasing destructive narratives that also decreases symptomology of racial trauma. I work with all ages, I provide a safe space to address racism, sexism, xenophobia, homophobia, and transphobia. I can also support you with anxiety, depression, feelings of overwhelm, CPTSD, PTSD, identity matters, couples therapy, and family therapy.

Clients have described feeling empowered, excited, calm, grounded, and lighter after our sessions. If this resonates, please connect with me, I look forward to learning and growing with you.‌
