I’m a warm, laid-back, and approachable therapist who believes therapy should feel like a space where you can be yourself, feel heard, and talk openly without judgment. I work with individuals, children and adolescents, couples, and families across all ages and stages of life. My experience includes school-based mental health and private practice, allowing me to support clients through a wide range of emotional, relational, developmental, and life challenges.
My approach is person-centered, strengths-based, solution-focused, and trauma-informed. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to walk alongside you, help you recognize your strengths, understand patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and find practical ways to move forward. I support clients navigating anxiety, depression, stress, relationship challenges, life transitions, and emotional overwhelm. I also have a special interest in supporting individuals and families through the perinatal journey, including prenatal, pregnancy, and postpartum experiences.
I have a strong passion for supporting first responders and their families, including law enforcement officers, firefighters, healthcare workers, and others who experience the unique demands of these professions. I am also a registered provider with the Star Behavioral Health Providers and have completed specialized training focused on supporting active-duty service members and veterans.
These experiences have strengthened my commitment to providing thoughtful, trauma-informed care to those who spend so much of their time caring for and protecting others.
As a mom of three young boys and a wife of a first responder, I know firsthand that life can be busy and that we often find ourselves balancing many different roles at once. While I bring my professional training and experience into the therapy room, I also value being genuine and relatable. You don’t have to have the “right” words or know exactly where to start, we can figure that out together. My goal is to create a comfortable, supportive space where you can slow down, gain perspective, build on what is already working, and take meaningful steps toward feeling better.
Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or simply ready for something to change, you don’t have to navigate it alone. If you’re looking for a therapist who will meet you where you are, listen without judgment, and work with you toward realistic and meaningful change, I’d be honored to be part of your journey.
