I’m a trauma-informed therapist offering EMDR, DBT, CBT, and mindfulness-based approaches, supporting individuals through life transitions and change. My approach is compassionate and client-centered, helping you make sense of patterns, process past experiences, and move toward growth that feels meaningful and sustainable. Whether you’re navigating grief, addiction, people-pleasing, codependency, or relationship challenges, I aim to offer a space where you feel supported as you work toward lasting change. I offer virtual therapy for clients throughout California.

My goal as a therapist is to help you understand your own history; your experiences in suffering, joy, grief, and more, so that you can openly see the person you are today and explore the person you might like to become.

I was adopted at birth and raised in an interracial household in the greater Los Angeles area. I moved to the Bay Area to study English and Religious Studies at Santa Clara University, and eventually planted my roots here. After settling into a “cooler” climate, I obtained my master’s degree in counseling psychology from the University of San Francisco. My experience includes over a decade of leadership and clinical service within various community mental health agencies. I have worked with a variety of individuals and families that are in recovery from intimate partner violence, addiction, suicidal ideation, and injurious behaviors.

While I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), as well as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), I will first try to find out what works best for you. My approach starts with getting to know you and learning more about your needs. I will take time to ask about your identity and learn about internal and external influences that drive your sense of self. Additionally, I sometimes lean into a postmodern approach, which means I will focus on your strengths, help you identify solutions, and find meaning in a seemingly anxiety-filled existence. I do my very best to make sure you are provided with a warm and friendly environment where you can heal, recover, or just learn more about yourself. Feedback from previous clients was that I had an open, humorous, flexible, and interactive style.

In addition to my professional experience, I am a grateful human being also in recovery. I dare not say I will know exactly what you are going through, but my mixture of personal and professional experience allows me to see you without judgment and more clarity.

In addition to my clinical work, I provide clinical supervision and support the development and care of our team.
