My Journey
My goal is to provide support to the clinical program by providing leadership from a whole-person, integrative family systems approach. I support the organization’s mission to provide quality, equitable access to mental health services, while also providing specialized support for vulnerable and often excluded populations, increasing global mental health and wellness one person at a time.

If you are ready to seek change to live a life where you find both meaning and purpose, you've come to the right place. I conduct therapy through the lens of a Humanistic Approach and am client-centered based. I like to meet clients where they are in the present moment. Although no two sessions will feel the same, you can expect to be challenged, and empowered, have your perspective shift, and learn about yourself as well as the various relationship dynamics in your life.
Regardless of the situation that brings you to therapy, I am not interested in focusing on a diagnosis. I do not believe labels are helpful. Instead, I prefer to focus on identifying the symptoms you are experiencing that are disrupting your life. I believe when ready, everyone is capable of healing themselves and are resilient. I will help you identify the ways in which you are living on autopilot and will allow you to explore negative patterns you may be stuck living in that may have once served a purpose when surviving through past trauma in a dysfunctional society. I will hold you accountable to track unhealthy behaviors, set clear personal boundaries, help you break generational trauma all while practicing mindfulness, and gratitude, and find what coping strategies work for you to aid in your own personal healing. My goal is to bring authenticity, support, and non-judgment while helping you understand that you are not a victim of your past. You have the power to rewrite your story and I can be there to help you feel heard while you find the strength to navigate through life's challenges.
I obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology with minors in both Creative Writing & Art at The University of California Merced
and a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy at Palo Alto University. I am a Chinese and Brazilian woman who grew up in a multicultural household in the Bay Area and have formerly lived in Australia. I have experience working in a hospital, non-profit organization, and school-based setting where I provided comprehensive individual and group counseling services to youth and families since 2013.
I specialize in working with pre-teens, teenagers, young adults, and women managing depression, anxiety and relationship issues. I also support mothers with pre- and post-partum mental health.
Clients describe sessions with me as engaging, insightful, and refreshing. I have been described as being outgoing, friendly, and warm and often use humor with clients to help build connection and rapport. I find such joy in having the opportunity to help individuals acquire the skills needed to live a fulfilling life.
